Well, I will be releasing the demo on Friday, July 2nd. I really hope it won't get pushed back, but I can't say if it will at this time, because I still have a lot to do. Go to the main page to see about being a beta tester. About - Falgath Adventures is a high color tile-based RPG featuring many maps, an involving storyline, and much, much more. Most of the work, such as coding, graphics, and world creation and some music (I have made only one track right now), is being done by Aragorn (Walter Young), but Robert Peake has very kindly decided to compose an original MIDI score for Falgath Adventures. I could really use some help with graphics. I really need character sprites the most, but I also need monster pics and many, many tiles. Status (as of 6/3/99)- Complete: base engine coding, some of the world, mapmaker, NPC Editor, halfway done with the fight Incomplete (for demo): Monster Editor, items editor possibly, equip and use programming, the other half of the fight Demo - Release Date: The demo will probably be released by somewhere around July 2nd, but it could be pushed up or back. I am sorry I am making anyone wait (that is IF anyone was waiting.) Demo Description: The walk-around demo will be set in some town in the land of Falgath, probably Kainton or Lontwan, both cities on islands near the mainland. It will have a complete city with shops and inns, and also some countryside surounding the town. The fight will be done, and there will be a boss on the island somewhere. So my deciding to do the fight first will make each demo like a small RPG instead of something you would delete off your hard drive in a matter of minutes. System Requirements - There are not really any requirements other than this: 800x600 res in high- or true-color mode.
